Comprehensive Probate & Wills Services
-
Will Drafting & Review
We draft clear, legally binding Wills tailored to your individual circumstances — covering the appointment of executors, guardianship of minor children, specific bequests, and the distribution of your estate. We also review existing Wills to ensure they remain valid and reflect your current wishes.
-
Grant of Probate
Where a deceased person has left a valid Will, we act on behalf of the executor to apply for a Grant of Probate through the Irish Probate Office. We manage the process from valuation of the estate through to extraction of the Grant, providing end-to-end guidance throughout.
-
Letters of Administration
Where a person dies without a Will (intestate), or where no executor has been named, the estate must still be administered. We assist the next of kin in applying for Letters of Administration and navigating the intestacy rules under the Succession Act 1965.
-
Estate Administration
We assist personal representatives in gathering in the assets of the estate, dealing with Revenue (including Capital Acquisitions Tax and the estate tax return), discharging liabilities, and ultimately distributing the estate to beneficiaries in accordance with the Will or the rules of intestacy.
-
Inheritance Tax & CAT Advice
Inheritance and gifts may attract Capital Acquisitions Tax (CAT). We provide practical guidance on CAT thresholds, reliefs, and exemptions to help beneficiaries understand their tax position and ensure that returns are filed correctly and on time with Revenue.
